We are Blue Certified. Plastic collection with Universal Plastic.

In February 2024 our team collaborated in a plastic collection day at Xagó beach,
in Avilés, with our friends from Universal Plastic, a start-up that has certified us as a
Blue Certified company. You can see here how was our day:

B Corp, we know the importance of taking care of our environment, that is why we decided to contribute
our grain of sand with this important and necessary initiative that tries to alleviate the problem of
plastic in the world. After the collection in Asturias where we could see first hand the problem
of plastics in our seas and beaches, we have organized a massive collection campaign of
plastics in India, with which through our economic contribution many "ocean defenders"
will be able to remove plastic from their environment and will be rewarded for it. Did you know that plastic waste
represents 80% of all marine pollution and that about 8 to 10 million
metric tons of plastic end up in the ocean each year? By 2050,
plastic is likely to weigh more than all the fish in the sea. In the last ten years, we have produced more
plastic products than in the previous century.
The Environmental Protection Agency (MPA) has stated that basically 100% of all plastic that humans have created still
exists. It usually takes between 500 and 1000 years for plastic to degrade. Even then, it becomes
microplastics, without degrading completely.
