How is homemade granola made?

by La Newyorkina
Since we started our adventure, we have told you about the advantages of granola, the benefits of some of its ingredients and we have even given you some ideas for breakfast or snack with granola. We hope you have taken good note of all our tips and suggestions and are putting them into practice (we would love to read you in the comments to exchange impressions). Today we are going to tell you about our bakery and we are going to show you a short video clip so that you can get a closer look at how we make the La Newyorkina artisan granola. Our bakery is in Oviedo (Asturias). It is located in the old part of the city, a very charming neighborhood full of streets, squares and corners where the life and commercial activity of the old Oviedo used to take place. In front of one of these squares, the Corrada del Ovispo, our granola is made. This square houses the baroque Archbishop's Palace, which occupies the space of the ancient royal palaces of the ninth century; the Cathedral Cloister and the Casa del Deán Payarinos, a building from 1909 that today houses the Conservatory of Music. We will confess that we owe part of the merit of the exquisiteness of our granola to the environment. Enjoying these streets, this square and the architecture that surrounds us every day is inevitably inspiring. In addition to the idyllic setting of the place, there is the and the care that Carmen, our master baker, dedicates to it.. Carmen is one of those people who have an innate taste and a great ability to do things with care, taking care of every detail so that everything fits together and things turn out exactly as they should. It is difficult to explain in words but it is something you will understand if you try granola. At that moment you will see, or rather, you will taste, how each ingredient is in the right amount and perfectly matched with the others. Carmen is also an excellent pastry chef and a great lover of decoration. Pure care in everything she does. An inspiring environment combined with the talent of our master baker could only have one result: excellent quality and tasty granola. As a promise is a promise, here is a short video clip of how our handmade granola is made. We love to show you a little corner of our workshop, which is like our home, because we enjoy what we do and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do. Too bad you can't enjoy the smell that fills our bakery every day!
