Last weekend we were at the fair. Specifically, we were from Thursday to Sunday at the Biocultura fair in Madrid. Biocultura is a Fair of Organic Products and Responsible Consumption and the international reference meeting point for producers, distributors, professionals and consumers of organic products. Biocultura is held annually in Madrid and Barcelona, while in Seville, Valencia, Bilbao and A Coruña is held every two years. It might seem that organic culture is something that has become fashionable recently, but nothing could be further from the truth. This fair has more than 34 editions behind it, that's nothing, which shows that the bio is not a fad and that it is a sector with a lot of history and much to say. Participating in fairs is tiring, exhausting I would say. The previous preparation, which is a lot, the trip, the days of assembly, the long hours in the exhibition halls. But even so, the feeling after each of these events is much more than satisfactory. Starting with seeing the stand fully assembled in the minutes before the doors open, until the last visitor leaves the exhibition and you find yourself in the solitude of your space, with hours and hours of conversation and many new names on your agenda. Being able to talk in person with industry colleagues, consumers, customers and potential customers is one of the greatest luxuries and this only happens at trade fairs. Two Ifema pavilions full, 800 exhibitors and more than 74,000 visitors. At the same time, more than 400 activities aimed at highlighting the importance of making Bio awareness permeate society. Companies and people committed to health and the environment. Can you ask for more? To attend this party, La Newyorkina was dressed in its best clothes and, of course, we showed off our two organic, organic and vegan granolas: Coconut and Lemon Friends and Apple Loves Ginger. Our last two recipes enjoy the favor of customers' palates and won the Flavor of the Year Award 2019 Bio. But beyond the awards, of which we are very proud, having the direct contact with our consumers and seeing that these recognitions transcend beyond an award makes us truly happy. If you have not yet tried our Organic Mediterranean granolas, you are missing out on a source of health and flavor. When your palate tastes the first spoonful, you won't be able to stop. Granola for salads, desserts, with yogurt for an afternoon snack or with milk for breakfast, it' s always better with granola!
