La Newyorkina & B-Corp.
Here at La Newyorkina we are members of B-Corp. The B Corps are companies that are transforming the way of doing and being a company. Their mission is not only to maximize the value to shareholders. but they are also geared towards the creation of social, environmental and economic value for all their stakeholders: workers, suppliers, customers, communities, the environment and, self-evidently, shareholders.
Using the strength of the company to generate a positive impact on people and the planet, the B Corp community works to reduce inequality and poverty, care for the environment, strengthen communities and create high quality jobs with dignity and purpose. The values and aspirations of the B Corp community are included in their Declaration of Interdependence
For a better future.
Here at La Newyorkina we identify strongly with the global economy which uses companies as a force for good. Here at La Newyorkina we promote: That we should be the change that we wish to see in the world; that all companies must be guided bearing in mind the importance of people and the planet; that through their products, practices and profits, companies should aspire not only to not doing damage, but also, first and foremost, to generating a social and environmental benefit.
To do this, we need to act on the understanding that we depend on each other and that we are thus responsible for ourselves, for others and for future generations.
