If this is your case and you have landed here looking for healthy recipes or how to eat a much more balanced diet, we welcome you warmly! We will be delighted to accompany you and we will also try to make sure that this resolution that started with the twelfth stroke of the bell doesn't fall apart and continues for the next 361 days.
To all the rest of you, loyal readers who are convinced that healthy eating is the way to almost everything in life, we are delighted that you will continue to visit us and we hope that the
New Yorker Diary will continue to be that little corner where you can discover new granola-based recipes or read our stories from the Big Apple.
Well, having made the introductions and acknowledgements, all that remains is to say: 2018, here we come!
If 2017 was the year in which granola La Newyorkina was born, 2018 is going to bring changes (good changes), news that we will reveal to you when the time comes, but we already tell you that you are going to love them. So... keep an eye on our blog!
But before all that, let's enjoy a little bit more of the little bit that's left of the Christmas holidays: Twelfth Night. If you have children at home, you will know that it is a night that is lived with special excitement and a lot of nerves. The ritual prior to the arrival of Their Majesties is not complicated but it is enveloped in a magical atmosphere. Cleaning the shoes can be a cumbersome task after a rainy day or the prelude to a sleepless night in the cold January, it all depends.
Shoe-cleaning is accompanied by another wonderful custom linked to food, of course! The preparation of the royal snack. A glass of milk with biscuits, nougat with a few glasses of cava, perhaps some fruit...
But, think about it, handing out presents all night long is really hard work and the high energy consumption is undeniable. So,
what to leave for the Three Wise Men to get them going? We have it clear:
a good bowl of La Newyorkina homemade granola with milk and fruit. Without a doubt, they will be grateful for this treat in the middle of an exhausting day and, who knows, maybe they will take note and next year they will be especially generous in your house. ;)
There's still time to visit one of
our points of sale and get your hands on our granola to prepare a delicious real recipe. We suggest granola combined with milk, yoghurt or
kefir and garnished with
raspberries or blueberries. Berries are antioxidants and hey, it never hurts to have a little extra help! Although it's obvious that Their Majesties keep very well. ;)
If this Twelfth Night you want to innovate and prepare a healthy, tasty and all-natural royal snack, prepare a recipe with La Newyorkina granola! And if you also want to share it on
Instagram, add the hashtag
#granolareal, we'd love to see it!
